Account · Permanent deletion
Delete your Eucaly account.
Two paths, both irreversible after a 30-day grace period.
From inside the app recommended ↗
- Open Eucaly on your device and sign in.
- Tap your avatar in the top-right corner → enter your parent PIN.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Re-enter your parent PIN to confirm — this is irreversible after the 30-day grace period.
Your account is deactivated immediately: you'll be signed out everywhere and won't be able to sign in. On day 30, your account, all child profiles, and practice data are permanently deleted.
What happens in the 30-day grace period
- Sign-in is blocked. You won't be able to access your account on any device.
- Your data is preserved but inaccessible. Nothing is shared, sold, or used for any purpose during this window.
- Your active store subscription continues to bill unless you cancel it separately (instructions below). We cannot pause the underlying subscription on your behalf — only Apple or Google can.
- Changed your mind? Email help@eucaly.au from your account email within 30 days and we'll cancel the deletion. After day 30, recovery is no longer possible.
On day 30, our scheduled job permanently removes your account, every child profile linked to it, and all associated practice data. This action cannot be reversed.
Email us (if you can't sign in)
If you no longer have access to your account or device, or if you want to delete the account but can't reach the in-app flow, email us with your account email address. We'll process the deletion manually and you'll receive a confirmation. The same 30-day grace period applies.
Tip: send the request from the email address tied to your Eucaly account so we can verify ownership without back-and-forth.
What gets deleted on day 30
When your 30-day grace period ends, the following are permanently removed from our systems:
- Your parent account, sign-in credentials, and parent PIN.
- All child profiles linked to your account, including names, year levels, and avatars.
- All practice data: question history, scores, badges, mastery, streaks, level, and band estimates.
- Any writing submissions previously sent for AI assessment, along with the feedback returned.
- Subscription state stored in our database (the underlying App Store or Google Play subscription must be cancelled separately — see below).
Active subscriptions
Deleting your Eucaly account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, because subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google rather than by us. To stop billing, cancel the subscription separately on whichever store you subscribed through:
- iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Eucaly → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Eucaly → Cancel subscription.
You'll keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, then access stops. No refund is automatic; refund eligibility is determined by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
Important to know
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot restore your data after the request is processed.
- We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving the request.
- A small amount of metadata may be retained where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes). This data is not linked to your child profiles or practice activity.
- If your account is shared between adults, the deletion request applies to the entire account; please coordinate with anyone else who uses it.
